Western Cape Wins Chairman’s Cup 2009
Congratulations to the Western Cape team who made history last weekend by winning the Overall Trophy of the Chairman’s Cup for the first time ever! This was the 27th Chairman’s Cup (the event known as the Chairman’s Cup began in 1983) and it was superbly staged by Valley Gun Club near Paarl. Western Cape not only won the Overall Trophy, they also set a new record!
Veels geluk and well done to the WC team. You deserved it. Could not have happened to a nicer bunch of competitors and gentlemen (well most of you!).
Keep practicing and see you at next year’s Chairmans at Wattlespring, where Vrystaat will will be back with a vengance.
